Chart notes
RAPIDITY took over early, set a pressured pace towards the inside, spurted clear in upper stretch, kept on under right handed asking past mid stretch and proved resolute to the wire. AMAZING BERNIE , steadied off heels near the first turn, regrouped and stalked inside, edged up along the inner rail nearing mid stretch, finished with good effort but was kept at bay. SAGAMORE MISCHIEF , three deep in close attendance, circled four wide under a ride into the lane, chased on past mid stretch, hopped over to the left lead inside the sixteenth pole and churned on. TOP BLOOD edged up between runners around the first turn then bid outside the winner, pressed that one to upper stretch, pursued past mid stretch and faded. PAYNTER'S PRODIGY , pinched back at the break, was used four wide to contention, pulled between runners near the five eighths, failed to kick on leaving the far turn and weakened. EVERDOIT was outrun. STRATEGIST , five then four wide with pursuit, faltered leaving the far turn.
