Chart notes
PINK CARATS was carried in early then moved out, tracked the leading duo on the outside, gained to make a bid leaving the backstretch, took the lead while moving from the four path to the three path early on the turn, went clear with three furlongs to run then dropped to the two path later on the bend, responded well when roused at the quarter-pole, drew away under a drive into the final furlong then was geared down while much the best. SPARKS WILL FLY stumbled badly at the start and was last away, raced on the outside under urging, chased in the four then three path on the turn, pursued the winner under a drive into upper stretch and proved no match then just held the place. QUELL was carried in early then dropped back, moved from the four path to the two path on the turn then went out to the three path, came into upper stretch in the five path and improved to just miss the place while up for the show. FIRE BATON angled in while displaying speed then showed the way, moved from the three path to the inside on the turn, dropped back with three furlongs to run and weakened. ANGIE'S ANGEL showed speed on the inside, dropped back midway through the turn and tired. OUR SWEET HARPIE broke out and bumped with TIFFANY'S GEM, was well placed just off the pace, dropped back in two then three path on the turn, remained on her inside lead until outside the sixteenth-pole then swapped to the proper lead and failed to respond. ADROIT had her path taken early then dropped back while climbing, went around the turn in the two to three path and was no factor. TIFFANY'S GEM was bumped at the start then urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the three then four path and failed to respond.
