Chart notes
RED CHARITY contested the pace, showed the way through the backstretch, and held safely. SCUFFLE contended the early pace inside of RED CHARITY, sat just off the leader in the backstretch and closed late. KAMAL stalked the pace while three wide, and lacked a close. DALE'S MAGIC was three wide in the opening turn, and was unable to improve position in the stretch. CHABLIS did not receive a fair start, tracked inside early, and tired. INCREDIBLE BUDDY stumbled leaving the gate, and trailed throughout. STEWARDS INQUIRY- An inquiry was conducted by the Board of Stewards into the start of the race involving CHABLIS. After review of the film, it was determined that CHABLIS did not receive a fair start and was refunded.
