Chart notes
LIEUTENANT CHARM pressed the pace, made a bid around the final turn, took the lead, drove clear down the lane and finished well. CAPTAIN JUNUH raced within striking distance, came around the first turn on the outside, made a stretch bid racing four wide, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. LICK SKILLET raced evenly near the middle of the field, made a late rally, six wide and missed second. STRUCK OUT raced evenly in the middle of the pack, made a late bid and was outfinished for third. ATMOSPHERE went to the front, drove clear, saved ground and lacked a late kick. KAMA CAN pressed the early pace, forwardly placed until late, faded on the inside. FILM AT ELEVEN raced evenly near the back and was never a factor. GLOBAL HEAT WAVE void of early speed and showed little. DOWNTOWN MOTOWN always raced near the back and was never a threat. MOONDOGGIE lacked early speed, trailed and was outrun.
