Chart notes
ASTROGEM led the way on the inside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path and held clear to the finish. OUR WILLOW bumped with the horses to both sides at the start, settled in the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path and chased on to the wire. DON'T TELL BERT bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, trailed the field early, swung out to the five path coming around the turn and gained some ground in the stretch while never truly threatening. SUBTLE SIR pressed the pace on the outside through the opening stages, saved ground around the turn and weakened in the stretch. SLEW DE ORO bumped with the horse to his outside at the break, raced off the pace up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and made no bid.
