Chart notes
TELL ME SOME LIES saved ground around the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack on the inside for the run up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the three path, began a bid entering the stretch, dueled between horses late and got up for the win. NEW LIFE raced in the middle of the pack in the two path through the opening half mile, began a bid from the four path coming around the far turn and gained ground late. MORE APPLAUSE saved ground around the first bend, chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path, dueled in the stretch and was caught late. DEL MAR SUNRISE (IRE) raced in the three path around the first turn, continued up the backstretch off the pace on the outside, swung out to the five path coming around the far turn and improved position in the stretch. ELENIQUE was pinched back leaving the gate, saved ground early, settled off the pace on the inside from there, continued to save ground around the second turn and was outkicked in the lane. STARSHIP ELATION raced in the two path around the first turn, trailed the field up the backstretch, swung out to the five path entering the stretch and showed no kick. NASHVILLE SLEW raced in the two path early, stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, challenged from the three path coming around the far bend and faded in the final furlong. LADY RIVER LILY saved ground around the first turn, led the way up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn, raced in tight quarters in upper stretch and tired quickly from there.
