Chart notes
PRINCE OF PEACE brushed with HAREWOOD after lunging at the break, angled outside soon after the start, was under urging in the two path mid way on the turn, swung four wide entering the stretch, closed determinedly and was up approaching the finish. WINSLOW sprinted to the early lead and was taken to the inner rail near the half mile pole, hugged the rail, remained on his left lead in the stretch and weakened. HAREWOOD brushed with the winner at the start, stayed along the inner rail on the turn and through the stretch and weakened. GRIND IT OUT showed speed along the inner rail, was rated back and eased outside of WINSLOW leaving the backstretch, chased that one to the stretch and faltered. DAY MADE , three wide on the turn, was not a factor. UNCLE GENE lacked speed, hugged the inner rail on the turn and steadily retreated. FROST ROCKET broke slowly, was outrun and swung to the four path leving the turn.
