Chart notes
ONCE UPON A KISS stumbled on the break, recovered settling into a good rhythm on the fence inside two rival sitting in midfield in the early stages, started to lengthen stride when roused on the rail at the five sixteenths pole, scraped paint taking the corner with a sharp turn of foot and determinedly rallied inside three dueling rivals driving on by inside by the sixteenth pole to win going away smartly at the wire. ELISSA'S MACHO had runners on both sides sitting in mid-division, took closer order at the half, ranged up two wide on the turn making her presence felt up front by the quarter pole, loomed boldly three wide between runners at the top of the lane, got a head in front for only a fleeting moment at the eighth pole but could not quicken with the winner powering past on the rail in the last sixteenth of a mile. REALLY BIG SHOW assumed control easily just galloping along in the two path heading into the first of two turns, increased the advantage controlling an even tempo loose up top along the backstretch, rolled along unchallenged in the early part of the second turn. WINNING AGENDA travelled three wide outside two runners in mid-pack through the initial bend, remained outside three deep making little movement down the backside, inched up again having to go three wide on the last turn at the quarter marker, shifted to the four path still fighting on outside and ran on gradually outside three rivals closing in slightly in the late going but was on the wrong end of a three way finish for second place. LITA MARIE had the rail position tracking the pacesetter in the early stages, was ridden for more around the far turn but was going the wrong way being engulfed on both sides by runners commencing a rally at the quarter pole and had little left to offer in the drive to the finish line. PAT'S HOLIDAY was allowed to settle into stride seeing the field on the first turn, made no progress at the rear down the backside, could not get into gear being a long last through the running around the far bend and could not factor in the stretch drive.
