Chart notes
ROAD TO RAVELLO moved in while going to the front, dropped from the two path to the inside on the first turn, was well rated while setting the pace in hand, controlled the action while inside on the far turn, responded well when asked at the quarter-pole then came under a strong hand-ride, was given one pop of a right-handed crop at the furlong marker and proved much the best under a strong hand-ride to the finish. PORT IN A STORM broke a half-step slow, settled towards the rear on the inside, shifted to the three path while roused late on the far turn, moved out in the vicinity of the furlong marker and finished willingly to just get the place. STARS ON THE WATER was rated under a snug hold on the inside, drafted behind the leader on the far turn, was given his cue at the quarter-pole, came off the inside while chasing inside the three-sixteenths pole, drifted out some under a left-handed crop around the furlong marker then switched to a right-handed crop and just missed the place while able to get the show. MR WEBSTER had his head turned at the start and was off slow, rounded the first turn in the two path, settled at the rear, moved from the inside to the two path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the three path then angled out to the seven path and improved with late energy for the last spot in the superfecta. BROADCAST established a forward position early, tucked from the four path to the three path early on the first turn, was rated with cover then let out late on the backstretch, came under urging in the three path on the far turn, chased under a drive into the final furlong and lacked the needed kick. OBLITERATED stalked outside in the three then two path, was asked late on the far turn, chased the winner into upper stretch and weakened. MAPPED traveled around the first turn in the two path, settled on the outside, was completely removed from cover outside the five-eighths pole, went around the far turn in the three then four path under urging, was driven into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response. LOYAL PRINCE broke out a bit, settled in the two path, was roused on the far turn and failed to respond. THIS TIME FOR SURE dropped back early, raced in the three path on the first turn, settled towards the rear, moved from the two path to the four path on the far turn, came out to the six path before the three-sixteenths pole and failed to threaten.
