Chart notes
MONGOLIAN APPLE accelerated to the early lead and was taken to the inner rail on the first turn, set the pace, opened up in upper stretch, responded when set down approaching the eighth pole and was kept under energetic urging. PATROL SQUAD SIX , never far back, stayed outside horses down the back stretch and around the turn then gained the place. SE THAR BARR , rated along the rail down the backstretch, eased out to the two path leaving the far turn and had a mild rally inside horses. ORATOR , along the inner rail down the backstretch, worked between horses on the far turn and had a mild rally outside rivals. CELTIC FLAME lacked speed, swung to the five path in upper stretch and passed foes. PENDAR stayed outside horses down the backstretch, circled the far turn four deep and gave way. START TAPPIN , rated back off the winner approaching the first turn, chased that one to upper stretch and gave way. KALEA BAY hugged the inner rail in a forward position to mid way on the far turn then faltered. POWER WRENCH , three wide the first turn, was four wide the far turn while outrun.
