Chart notes
LET'S GO SOUPER had the rail tracking the contesting duo, took aim starting to close in measuring the lead pair at the three furlong pole, pounced outside in the four path turning for home, did not switch leads through the stretch drive but still powered past by the sixteenth pole going away at the wire for the win. VEGAS ROAD pressed the issue inside early on, edged away getting control by the half on the rail, rolled along in hand through the turn with little pressure being applied by the closest pursuer, shifted to the the two path holding on with a furlong to go but was no match for the late charge by the winner outside while still coming home strong enough to best the rest for the secondary share. EDEY was being nudged for more while seeing the field down the backside, started to make a rally picking up an inside rival by the five sixteenths pole, shufted out to the three path in mid-stretch and closed in belatedly to be a non threatening third in the end. ASTONESTHROWAWAY settled on the outside on the eventual winner in the second flight watching the engaged pair along the bckstretch, was ridden on for more closing the gap briefly four wide at the quarter pole, shifted out widest in the five path but could only run on evenly in the final furlong to settle on the fringes. KIMBERLINA had only one runner beaten with the field strung out along the backside, could not quicken with rivals being relegated to last by midturn and was not a factor in the drive drive but did show some grit to come on right at the wire to nab a weary straggler for a placing. TWIST OF SUGAR had a slim lead on the outside in the beginning, relinquished the front end to the inside rival by the half, chased two wide but to no avail in the turn running, had the three path between runners still in mix for a share in upper stretch but wilted on the rail in the last sixteenth of a mile.
