Chart notes
HOUSE OF WAR was well placed just off the pace, moved from the inside to the two path on the turn, was roused in the four path into the stretch, rallied to get the lead outside the eighth-pole, responded well in the final furlong and held under strong urging. HOWARD'S HOPE tugged on the bit while rated under tight restraint in the two then three path, steadied in traffic coming to the quarter-pole, came out to the five path into the stretch then moved to the six path, rallied outside to make a bid in the final sixteenth but missed while able to get the place. CAPTAIN GEORGE broke in at the start, stalked outside without cover, came out some outside the three-quarter pole then was corrected, was asked in the three path on the turn, gained the lead in upper stretch, lost the advantage to the winner outside the three-sixteenths pole and was outfinished while clear for the show. EPIC PRAYER settled towards the rear, went around the turn in the three then four path on the turn, came out to the seven path into the stretch and improved for the last spot in the superfecta. BILLY BUCCHERO broke in and bumped with MIRACLE MORROW then dropped back, settled at the rear, raced between horses in the two path on the turn, moved out while asked for his best after turning into the stretch and lacked the needed response. SOLDIER'S GLORY broke a half-step slow then dropped back, settled near the rear, saved ground on the turn, moved out in upper stretch and was no factor. MIRACLE MORROW moved in while going to the front, showed the way in hand on the inside, was roused at the quarter-pole, lost the advantage in upper stretch and gave way. ROAD SHOW broke in at the start, prompted the pace on the outside of the leader, was asked in the two path on the turn and came up empty. CUYLLE was rated on the outside without cover, shied out outside the three-quarter pole, tugged on the bit under tight restraint late on the backstretch, was let out in the four path on the turn, dropped back in the six path into the stretch and capitulated.
