Chart notes
FOURDATESFORHOCO moved up and stalked the early pace then loomed to challenge at the 1/4 pole before battling through the long drive and exchanging bumps with RUFFIN at the 1/8 pole then prevailed on the wire. RUFFIN got away alertly and crossed over while setting the early pace then battled into the stretch before exchanging bumps with FOURDATESFORHOCO then contended to the wire and just missed. SCRIMPER raced close up early along the rail then dropped back into the turn before angling nine wide into the stretch and came again late to get up for show. HENRY MAC settled early then was urged while five wide nearing the 3/8 pole and made a mild rally through the stretch. STARTDFROMDABOTTOM rated in the second flight early before steadying between horses nearing the 5/8 pole then took back and ducked to the inside into the stretch, making a rail bid but was outfinished. THIS TIME was allowed to settle early then made a move while six wide at the 3/8 pole and a bid into the stretch but flattened out. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN AND NO CHANGE WAS MADE.
