Chart notes
K KID trailed for nearly a half mile, circled his field four then three wide, made the lead entering the stretch, drifted a bit under left handed urging and drew off late. FINALLY FRIDAY made the lead two wide midway on the clubhouse turn, set the pace to the top of the stretch, dug in determinedly and finished gamely for second. KNOCK WOOD inside, shifted out in upper stretch, and improved position late. CONTROLLER had an early lead along the inside into the first turn, kept pressure into the stretch and was outfinished. HEZA PISTOL settled three wide and failed to respond. WETZEL was no factor. COOL COUPLE close up three then four wide, gave way in the lane.
