Chart notes
SAFETY OFF pressed two wide, vied between horses as an outer COMPREHENSIVE challenged at the nine sixteenths pole, vied with that one while headed turning for home, fought on to continue to duel in upper stretch, leaned out and brushed her counterpart at the furlong grounds, forced her wider while leading narrowly into the final sixteenth, drifted under left handed urging once again late and narrowly held. COMPREHENSIVE broke a step slow, raced off of the pace in the three to four path into the backstretch, progressed to bid outside of the leading pair at the nine sixteenths pole, vied two wide around the far turn, led in the three path turning for home, dueled with his inner persistent counterpart in upper stretch, brushed at the furlong grounds, got herded wider into the final sixteenth, sustained the duel but missed at the wire. KELZ stalked along the inside, chased in the two to four path into upper stretch then stayed on mildly to prove best of the rest. RYU set the pace in the two path as the eventual winner prompted, yielded to that one and wider bidder entering the far turn then continued to give way. MASSACHUSETTS broke slowly, lacked peed in the two path and made little impact. WOLF DAKOTA broke slowly, raced off of the pace in the for path, retreated to trail leaving the three quarter pole, got outrun thereafter and was eased through the lane. STORMIN THE BEACH tracked from the three path but went wrong when suffering an injury to his left hind-leg at the five sixteenths pole, was pulled up entering upper stretch then transported off of the track via an equine ambulance. THE RIDER OF COMPREHENSIVE CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST SAFETY OFF ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH RUN. FOLLOWING THE OBJECTION, AS WELL AS STEWARDS' INQUIRY, SAFETY OFF WAS DISQUALFIED AND PLACED SECOND
