DADDY'S CODE showed early speed, raced near front throughout, proved no match for the winner late, but held on for second. STOVALL pressed the pace, raced close throughout and was outfinished for second. A LOTTA SHANCE dueled for the early advantage, drove clear, while saving ground around the turn and weakened down the stretch. BIND FAITH raced near the back in the early part, moved up, but was no factor. PETITFOR broke out, raced in the middle of the field, weakened and was no threat. PRADO'S PRIORITY bumped at the break, broke sharp, dropped back and lacked a bid. EL DAN void of early speed and showed little.
