Chart notes
START THE DAY broke outward and made light contact with TONY HOOKS at the start, settled just off the flank of RUMBLYOUNGMANRUMBL to the outside while under a snug hold, was confidently ridden into the turn, then responded when set down at the top of the stretch to kick clear and remain unchallenged to the wire. TONY HOOKS took a light bump from the inside foe at the start, stalked the pace three-wide to the far turn, was unable to kick on with the eventual winner from the top of the stretch but kept on well enough to save the place. BY MINK STANDARDS tracked four wide, came out another path into the stretch and stayed on evenly to gain third. RUMBLYOUNGMANRUMBL assumed the early lead entering the first turn, had two rivals in close attendance to the outside, came under pressure entering the far turn and battled back but weakened in the drive. CALL SAUL angled to the rail before the clubhouse turn, settled at the back of the field in the two- to three-path, then lacked a rally. CRYSTER was taken in hand early, rated along the inside, then had no response when called upon on the far turn.
