Chart notes
FLYING PHOEBE settled while never far back early on, weaved through rivals into the far turn then was caught a bit in tight to upper stretch, angled to the inside nearing the furlong grounds, rallied and vied for the lead into the final sixteenth, took command late and held well for the win. HEAVENS LEE settled mid-pack, tracked the pace while widest up the backstretch, coaxed three to four wide to the quarter marker, floated to the five to six path to upper stretch, rallied and vied for the lead into the final sixteenth, got outfinished in deep stretch but held late for second. MAIZEY BLUE broke alertly and sent for the early lead, set a moderate pace to the second turn, drifted out into upper stretch but led to the furlong marker, was stubborn to the final sixteenth but couldn't hold off the top pair late and was a clear third. JAYCE AND LIAM asked for early speed, stalked the pace to the backstretch, chased to the far turn then lost ground at the quarter marker, re-rallied into the stretch but needed more late. JESSICA'S RIDE settled to the backstretch, moved up to track from the second flight heading to the half-mile pole, vied for the lead nearing the quarter marker, got floated to the four path into upper stretch, raced in contention to the furlong pole then weakened in deep stretch. GOING HOME NOW bobbled and crowded at the start, settled to the backstretch, lacked a response into the far turn, swung out to upper stretch, found her best stride late but couldn't reel in the leaders in deep stretch. DHARMA forwardly placed while wide to the first turn, settled to the backstretch then trailed the rest of the way.
