ELGHEED raced in the three path, bid four wide near the quarter pole, then bid near the eighth pole to drew off and won under a mild drive. SERENA'S SURPRISE was off awkwardly, dueled outside of a rival and was no match for the winner. PARTY TO THE MAX saved ground and faded in the stretch.
