Chart notes

POLIZON got away alertly and chased the pace through the opening turn and onto the backstretch while five wide before altering course to the inside nearing the 1/2 pole then steadied off heels at the 3/8 pole before splitting horses and rallying to draw clear in the stretch. LAO WAY raced closed up early then was urged to challenge for the lead while racing along the rail nearing the 1/2 pole and took the lead at the 3/8 pole but was headed passing the 1/4 pole while running on to be second best. HANDSOME FOX settled early then split horses coming out of the first turn and moved up to stalk the early pace before battling to the 3/8 pole before fading in the stretch while no match for the top two finishers. HE'S A PISCES moved up and assumed command early while pressed on the lead but was headed into the second turn and dropped back, running evenly through the stretch. GRITS N GRAVY raced closed up early and chased the pace through the opening turn before dropping back on the backstretch run and was no threat for the remainder of the race. C C'S CLEAR CREEK settled early while void of speed then lost contact with the field on the backstretch run and was no factor.
