Chart notes
STARSHIP PARADISE was away alertly on the fence having the lead, moved well in hand dictating terms on the front end through the bend, opened up having plenty to give when called upon for more in mid-stretch but had to kept to the task in the late stages fending off the late charging runner up outside at the wire. MY CASH FACTOR had a nice set up isolated in the third spot watching the front two rivals, was nudged for more shifting to the three path at the quarter pole picking up the bit, angled out to the four path chipping away on the leader down the stretch, was in full stride smartly reaching for more ground in the final furlong and was closing in determinedly late on the outside but just could not get to the winner in time. COMPLEX SECRET was content to sit just outside and off the pacesetter down the backside, travelled two wide chasing the leader on turn while being urged for more by the quarter pole, shifted to the three path unable to quicken with the winner entering the stretch and finished up mildly between foes with a furlong to go to be a clear third at the wire. APRIL DE VELP stumbled then was slammed by the inside runner on the break, recovered improving on the rail down the backside to be in mid-division with a half mile remaining, came under a ride saving all the ground but could not make anty headway on the front three around the bend, shifted to the two path at the top of the lane and ran on evenly being a fringe player when crossing the finish line. SUPER SERENADE veered out sharply having to be taken hold of briefly to get straightening out, trailed the field along the backside, travelled three wide lagging behind on the turn, was allowed to drift out widest in the seven path turning for home and showed some late interest passing a couple on inside tiring rivals in the stretch running. NO WHAMMIE broke with the field but regressed in the backstretch running to be one the rail having only one runner beaten by the half, made little impression taking the shortest way around the turn, moved out to the four path in upper stretch but had little to offer in the late going. ROOKIE COURT settled in the middle of the field outside another along the backside, made no progression being ridden for more two wide around the oval, shifted out to the five path for the stretch run but came up empty through the lane.
