Chart notes
XARABELLA broke inwards on the start, crept up advancing outside runners by the half, made a sharp move gliding around horses improving position four wide coming to the three eighths pole, moved smoothly edging closer outside the frontrunner through the turn, posed the main threat in the three path outside two rivals at the head of the lane and grinded away on the outside in the final furlong wearing down the leader in the final seventy yards for the win. REFINEMENT travelled three deep in the conversation on the front end, chased the pacesetter with the eventual winner outside around the turn, shaved the corner still making a rail run entering the stretch, never wavered inside battling down the entire lane, could not accelerate with the winner in the final seventy yards but showed grit inside getting the nod right at the finish line for the place award. RULE THE WAVES rambled on up top setting a rapid wind aided pace along the backside, continued to roll along unchallenged through the bend, had the two path with challengers bearing down on both sides in upper stretch, gamely fought of each rival un til the sevenbty yard marker but then gave way grudgingly in deep stretch on the wrong end of a three finish at the wire. INESCAPABLE was brushed by the outside rival on the break, co-trailed three deep on the outside with a half mile remaining, made a brief move getting into contention circling horses three wide in midturn, angled out to the four path at the top of the stretch and finishe dup evenly well back on the embattled trio taking home a minor share in the end. MIGHTY TANNER pressed the issue on the inside in the beginning, was roused on the fence but could not match strides with the leaders at the three furlong marker, retreated further at the quarter pole and could not get involved in the stretch running. LORRAINE'S BEAUTY was a joint last with runners on either side at the half, shared the rear outside on the turn, swung out widest to the six path straightening out for the drive to the wire and passed a couple of inside foes down the lane. EPISODE was under a snug hold behind the lead duo down the backside, travelled two wide on the turn but was shuffled back between foes at the three eighths pole, retreated further by the quarter marker and could not factor in the stretch running. LET IT ALL OUT had the rail position close to the back end, took the short way around the bend in tandem with an outside foe at the rear, hugged the rail turning foer home but folded on the fence at the furlong marker.
