Chart notes
RUNAWAY AGAIN settled on the fence close to the back end, could see the field galloping along inside rivals at the five furlong marker, was roused at the five sixteenths pole two wide deciding when and where to move behind the chasing runners, urged on opting to shift outside rivals at the quarter pole, swung widest to the five path full of run in upper stretch and when fully set down in the final furlong rushed on past in an instant with a quick burst of speed to win going away crossing the finish line. ENGLISH ACTOR assumed command just off the fence on the first turn, rated kindly slowing things down controlling the pace up top down the backside, was let out a notch quickening the pace unopposed around the far turn, had company bearing down outside holding in the two path turning for home, kept finding more edging away again being asked right handed with a furlong to go but had no answer when the winner sharply stormed on past outside in deep stretch but nonetheless still a game effort on the front end being a clear second best at the wire. WILLIAM T was quite keen on hold drafting behind the frontrunner throughout, tracked inside another down the backside, had to wait on the rail at the quarter pole just off the pacesetter, scraped paint getting into contention turning for home, could not get to the lead duo by the furlong pole but willingly fought on inside winning the show duel in deep stretch. WICKED DJANGO stumbled on the break, trAiled the field three wide around the initial bend, travelled three deep part of the rear trio midway along thre back straight, ranged up boldly circling around foes three wide on the far turn to be in the hunt in the four path at the top of the stretch, could not sustain the rally throiugh and stalled between horses in the final eighth of a mile setting on the fringes. SWIFT DELIVERY tracked the frontrunner in tandem with an inside runner, came under a drive in the two path between horses at the five sixteenth pole chasing the leader but to no avail, gave way fighting up top three wide in upper stretch and was no menace tiring by the furlong pole. WAR COURT travelled near the rear on the outside, improved slightly splitting rivals at the five eighths pole, was hard ridden eropping back to last with three furlongs to go and could not be a factor galloping hone through the lane.
