Chart notes
ALMA DERBY bumped with foes on both sides at the start, settled in second position, went three wide on the turn, came four wide into the stretch then was roused once straightened for the drive, rallied to the lead just inside the three-sixteenths and drew clear under strong urging. CAT ON THE ROOF broke in and bumped with a rival, settled off the pace, was urged four wide on the turn, came five wide into the stretch, gained to make an outside bid at the three-sixteenths, lost touch with the winner inside the furlong marker and proved no match while clear for the place. DISAPPROVAL broke in at the start, dropped back under urging, went five wide on the turn, came six wide into the stretch and lacked the needed response while up for the show. FLEET RUN bumped with a rival at the start, settled towards the rear, went two to three wide on the turn, was asked for his best in upper stretch and failed to rally. CAEUS IN PASADENA bumped with a rival at the start, settled off the pace, raced inside to the two path on the turn, moved out outside the furlong marker and failed to threaten. FAREWELL TIME bumped with a rival at the start, recovered quickly then sped clear, went around the turn in the two path, came three wide into the stretch, lost the advantage inside the three-sixteenths and tired. LITTLE RED KID broke a step slow, settled at the rear, saved ground on the turn, moved out twice in the stretch and was no factor. RICHARD RONALD was urged along off the pace, saved ground on the turn and came up empty. IPIDATE was off slow and spotted the front a couple lengths, raced well back in the field, went five wide on the turn, came six wide into the stretch and was no factor. LUVMEWHENIMGONE bumped with foes on both sides at the start, settled off the pace, dropped back late on the backstretch, went four wide on the turn, came five wide into the stretch and had nothing left.
