SCARLET FUSION was hustled to the lead, set the pace with company to his outside while inside to the two path, was set down in upper stretch, led under a drive into the final sixteenth but was caught while clear for the place. DOLDER GRAND went around the first turn in the two path, was well placed towards the front, saved ground on the far turn, came under a drive in upper stretch and finished willingly for the show. CASH ROCKET went four to five wide on the first turn, settled in the front half on the outside, moved closer while four to five wide on the far turn, made a bid at the quarter-pole, battled under a drive into the final furlong and was out-kicked. COOL RAGS was stranded seven wide early on the first turn, dropped to five wide late on that bend, settled well back in the field, advanced four wide on the far turn then was driven five wide into the stretch and came up empty. MASQUEPARADE jostled with a foe early, rounded the first turn in the two path, was rated under a vigorous hold then taken up while rank around the five-eighths, continued under a tight hold, was let out while three then four wide on the far turn then driven six wide into the stretch and also came up empty. BIG POWER RED angled in at the rear, raced in the two path on the first turn, swerved in early on the backstretch, was reserved under a hold at the back, saved ground on the far turn, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole, swung six wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. GUN LAP went three to four wide on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, raced three to four wide on the far turn, was put to a drive in upper stretch and capitulated. AFWAN raced inside on the first turn, was reserved towards the back, moved closer midway down the backstretch went around the far turn in the two path and was no factor. HAPPY AMERICAN bumped with a foe at the start, jostled with a rival on the backstretch, bumped with a foe near the half-mile pole, went around the far turn in the two path and had nothing left. HOPE AND DIGNITY prompted the pace on the outside of the leader while two to three wide, was urged along on the far turn, dropped back at the five-sixteenths and retreated. MILITARY BEARING bumped with a rival at the start, jostled with foes on both sides early, went five to six wide on the turns and faltered.
