NEW EAGLE was hustled from the start, saved ground on the first turn, was well placed just off the pace, drafted inside on the far turn, shifted into the two path at the quarter-pole while asked, rallied on the outside to take the lead into the final furlong then drew clear under a strong hand ride to prove much the best. COPPER FIDDLE broke in and bumped hard with a rival, moved in while going to the front, rounded the first turn in the two path, set the pace in hand on an easy lead, controlled the action while inside on the far turn, was asked at the quarter-pole then came under the whip in upper stretch, lost the lead to the winner into the final furlong and proved no match while just able to get the place. DEVIANT dropped from the two path to the rail on the first turn, was hard held while reserved off the pace, moved closer late on the backstretch, saved ground on the far turn, moved out while put to a drive in upper stretch and finished willingly to just miss the place while clear for the show. HOLY SPIRIT went three then two wide on the first turn, settled towards the back, traveled around the far turn in the two path, was roused at the quarter-pole and improved position. COMEDIAN was bumped hard at the start, bobbled slightly nearing the wire for the first time, went five then four wide on the first turn, was reserved on the outside, raced four wide while let out on the far turn, swung six wide into the stretch and lacked the needed response. GOOD INTENT rounded the first turn in the turn, settled on the outside at the rear, went four wide on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch, angled out around the three-sixteenths and failed to rally. MOM SAID YES went four then three wide on the first turn, was rated off the pace, rounded the far turn in the two path, was put to a drive in upper stretch and came up empty. MAYOR COBB was hustled from the outside post then carried six wide into the first turn, dropped to five wide midway through that bend, settled on the outside, was asked three wide on the far turn then driven four wide into the stretch and had nothing left. BUCKY broke a step slow, lugged out five wide into the first turn then dropped to three wide late on that bend, stalked the pace down the backstretch, chased in the two path on the far turn, dropped back into upper stretch and faded.
