Chart notes

POSTNUP dropped from the three path to the rail on the first turn, settled off the pace, moved out under restraint at the seven-sixteenths, stalked three wide on the far turn, was asked at the quarter-pole then took the lead, drifted in while moving clear around the three-sixteenths and proved best under steady urging. JUNGLE CAT broke out and bumped with a foe, went two then three wide on the first turn, was reserved on the outside then carried further out around the seven-sixteenths, raced four wide while roused on the far turn then was driven five wide into the stretch, drifted in around the three-sixteenths, pursued the winner in the final furlong and was outfinished but secured the place. TRANSIENT (GB) bobbled ever so slightly just after the start, rounded the first turn in the two path, settled off the pace, drafted in the two path on the far turn, was roused three wide into the stretch then moved further out inside the three-sixteenths and was out-kicked while well clear for the show. WAYWARDNESS bumped with a foe at the start, was taken in hand while tugging hard at the bit early, went three wide on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside under a snug hold, took the lead in the two path at the three-eighths, was asked outside the quarter-pole, lost the advantage to the winner into upper stretch and tired. KATTEGAT moved up to take the lead early, set the pace on the inside, lost the advantage early on the far turn, dropped back under urging outside the five-sixteenths and stopped then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
