Chart notes
GUITAR SLIM broke out and was off a step slow, was urged along at the rear on the outside, went four then three wide on the turn, dropped to the two path under a drive at the quarter-pole, rallied into the final furlong, moved out while gaining fast into the final sixteenth and got up under strong urging. LOUISIANALIGHTNING broke in at the start, moved out then rushed up to dispute the pace on the outside, dueled in the two path on the turn, came in just inside the three-sixteenths and bothered a foe then was corrected by the rider, went clear at that point, remained clear under the whip into the final sixteenth but was caught while able to get the place. SAINTSGOTROBBED was very reluctant to load, chased the pace on the outside, dropped back some late on the backstretch, went three to four wide on the turn, gained into the final sixteenth, was carried out late and finished willingly for the show. TENSAS TODDY was urged along towards the rear, saved ground on the turn and failed to threaten. SOUL SONG broke in at the start then was hustled, dueled on the inside, vied along the rail while inside of the runner-up on the turn, checked when that foe came in just inside the three-sixteenths and tired. ALMA DERBY settled off the pace, was urged while three then two wide on the turn and failed to respond.
