BENIAH saved ground on the first turn, was reserved off the inside on the backstretch, went three wide on the far turn, was asked at the five-sixteenths then jostled with a foe, turned into the stretch under the whip then moved out coming to the three-sixteenths, rallied outside into the final furlong and closed strongly to get up late. POIRIER moved in while keen under restraint early, bumped with foes on both sides before first turn then was pinched back, dropped to the rail into that bend, saved ground onto the backstretch, settled off the pace, moved out while dropping back around the seven-sixteenths, went around the far turn in the two path, jostled with the winner inside the five-sixteenths then waited coming to the quarter-pole, was put to a drive in upper stretch, moved out while rallying into the final furlong and closed well for the place. BIG EASY EMPIRE bumped with a rival on the initial straightaway, dropped from the four path to the two path on the first turn, settled off the pace, moved closer midway down the backstretch, raced between horses passing the half-mile pole, was asked in the two path on the far turn, made a brief bid at the five-sixteenths, pursued the leader in the stretch and finished with good courage for the show but was out-kicked by the top two. NO OBLIGATION bumped with a rival at the start then was hustled, came out some on the initial straightaway, dropped to the rail into the first turn, set the clear pace, was challenged while inside on the far turn, shook off a foe into the stretch, remained clear into the final furlong, swapped back to his inside lead under a right-handed whip at the sixteenth-pole and was overtaken while weakening. AIR FORCE ANGEL bumped with a rival nearing the first turn then was taken up while lugging out six wide into that bend, dropped to four then three wide later on that bend, settled on the outside, moved closer midway down the backstretch, was asked three wide on the far turn, floated five wide into the stretch under a left-handed whip then was switched to a right-handed whip around the three-sixteenths, dropped back while still on his inside lead and came up empty. WHEREVER HE IS broke in and bumped with a foe, came out while rank nearing the first turn then bumped with a foe, raced in the three path on the first turn, tracked the pace down the backstretch, passed the half-mile pole in hand then dropped back some, was urged along while inside on the far turn, moved out in upper stretch and capitulated.
