Chart notes
DIXIE STREET established a good position just off the pace, started the far turn in the two path, was roused while angling three then four wide near the five-sixteenths, rallied to make a five wide bid between horses into the stretch then quickly took the advantage and drew off under steady urging. COMMANDER SCOTT raced well back in the field, went three wide on the turn, moved out under a drive in upper stretch and safely secured the place. SHACKLE THE GOLD brushed with a rival at the start then dropped back, settled at the rear, saved ground on the turn, spun three wide into the stretch, moved out under a left-handed whip in upper stretch, shifted further out inside the furlong marker and just got up for the show. G DON'T KNOW chased the pace on the outside, went four to five wide on the turn, made a brief bid six wide into the stretch and weakened then lost the show. HALF A BITE jostled with a rival inside the five-eighths, saved ground no the turn, turned into upper stretch under urging, was hesitantly ridden despite room from outside the furlong marker to the outside the sixteenth-pole, was not urged during this time frame, came back under urging before the sixteenth-pole and came up empty. CALLINGINTHENIGHT broke out and brushed with an opponent, moved up along the rail under urging, made a bid coming to the half-mile pole, vied inside on the turn and tired. PILLAGE DA VILLAGE was hustled to the lead and set the pace, vied in the three path on the turn, spun four wide into the stretch then lost the advantage and capitulated. MAKATI PHIL broke out at the start, jostled with a foe outside the nine-sixteenths then checked, went five then six wide on the turn then came seven wide into the stretch under the whip and failed to respond.
