BIG LAKE went three to four wide on the first turn, tracked the pace on the outside, made a bid in the three path on the far turn, took the lead at the five-sixteenths, kicked clear into upper stretch then dropped to the inside, drew away under the whip into the final furlong, remained well clear under the whip into the final sixteenth and was fully extended to last. DEFEATER broke a step slow while shut-off by a rival, went around the first turn in the two path, settled towards the rear, started the far turn in the two path, shifted four then five wide around the five-sixteenths, swung seven wide into the stretch, rallied on the outside and closed with a rush but missed while clear for the place. GAGETOWN broke in and bumped with a foe, was keen under restraint in the three path on the first turn then rated just off the pace, went two to three wide while let out on the far turn then was roused for more at the five-sixteenths, came four wide into the stretch and lacked the needed kick while able to get the show. LAKER MAMBA broke a step slow, saved ground on the first turn, settled off the pace, was urged along midway down the backstretch, went three wide on the far turn, came four wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. WARLOCK DOC bumped with a rival at the start, became rank under tight restraint while inside on the first turn, tugged hard at the bit under vigorous restraint on the backstretch, was let out along the rail on the far turn, altered out from behind horses in upper stretch, drifted out outside the sixteenth-pole and came up empty. WHISKEY DOUBLE was hustled from the start, went two to three wide on the first turn, stalked the pace, was asked in the two path while between horses on the far turn, dropped back while in tight quarters into upper stretch and tired. REGULAR GUY went four to five wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, was asked while four to five wide on the far turn, dropped back six wide into the stretch and capitulated. BIG NICK broke a touch slow, raced inside for most of the first turn then moved to the two path, settled towards the rear, went four wide early on the far turn then moved to six wide and was no factor. BLAMEWORTHY broke out at the start, raced inside to the two path on the first turn, set the pace through sensible fractions, was asked while inside on the far turn, lost the lead to the winner at the five-sixteenths, dropped back into upper stretch and faded. HEAVY DUTY was reluctant to load, went three wide on the turns and showed little. RISK MANAGER bumped with a foe at the start, went five wide on the turns then six wide into the stretch and faltered.
