DALIKA (GER) was rated in second position while traveling in the three path, stalked the leader around the far turn, was asked at the quarter-pole, gained to take the lead inside the furlong marker, shook clear under hand urging into the final sixteenth and prevailed. TEMPLE CITY TERROR saved ground on the first turn, was unhurried towards the rear, rounded the far turn in the two path, was roused in the three path at the quarter-pole, rallied into the final furlong, closed fast between horses into the final sixteenth and finished with good energy to get the place. PASS THE PLATE went around the first turn in the two path, settled at the back on the outside, went four wide on the far turn, was roused six wide into the stretch and also finished with good energy while up for the show. JOY EPIFORA (ARG) went around the first turn in the two path, was reserved off the pace, saved ground on the turn, was asked while cutting the corner into the stretch, tipped into the two path while gaining at the three-sixteenths, steadied behind the pacesetter when that foe came out some and the winner held her ground at the furlong marker, regained momentum outside the sixteenth-pole and finished willingly but missed the trifecta. SECRET MESSAGE went four wide on the first turn, was hard held while rated on the outside, came under urging in the four path on the far turn, was put to a drive in upper stretch and lacked the needed kick. XANTHIQUE broke out then hit the gate and was off slow, went three wide on the turns, was roused five wide into the stretch and also lacked the needed kick. HIS GLORY broke in at the start then was hustled, set the clear pace on the inside while in hand, was asked at the quarter-pole then came under a drive in upper stretch, moved off the rail some nearing the furlong marker, lost the lead just inside that marker and gave way. ROOM TO FINISH saved ground on the first turn, was reserved off the pace, raced inside early on the far turn then moved to the two path, was roused around the five-sixteenths and failed to rally. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE STEWARDS' POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND THE RIDER OF JOY EPIFORA CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE WINNER ALLEGING INTERFERENCE AT THE EIGHTH-POLE.
