Chart notes
BLUERIDGE MOUNTAIN was asked to establish position leaving the gate then taken in hand nearing the first turn, went four wide on that bend, settled off the pace, moved closer while shifting from the inside to the three path on the far turn, dropped in a path while roused at the quarter-pole, closed fast to make a bid at the three-sixteenths then quickly took the lead and drew away under steady urging. CONATIVE went five wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, moved closer under urging while five wide on the far turn, chased six wide into the stretch and safely secured the place while no match for the winner. MAX PANDOWDY dropped from the two path to the rail on the first turn, was well placed in third position, moved out leaving the backstretch, chased three wide on the far turn, took the lead just inside the five-sixteenths, turned into upper stretch under a drive, lost the lead inside the three-sixteenths and weakened but held the show. LIFE ON THE ROAD went three wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, chased four wide on the far turn then spun five wide into the stretch and capitulated. NO EXAGGERATION went around the first turn in the two path, lagged at the rear, was urged along passing the half-mile pole, moved closer while two then three wide on the far turn then came four wide into the stretch, drifted in near the furlong marker and had nothing left. GOOD CLEAN FUN went four wide on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, took a short lead before the half-mile pole, vied in the two path under pressure on the far turn, dropped back nearing the three-sixteenths and faltered. DA GOLD ROOM went to the front, traveled around the first turn in the two path, contested the pace on the backstretch, vied inside on the far turn and stopped. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC.
