Chart notes
FLICKER'S PRINCESS was away alertly to duel for the lead from the inside with POND HOCKEY, disposed of that rival after going three-quarter, opened a clear lead and held sway to the wire. CHERISH YOUR DREAM was reserved just off the leaders from the inside, remained inside for the drive and finished with good energy. MOLLY BOLTS was never far back, raced four-wide through the third turn and finished willingly. BOTTLE COURAGE showed no early speed, raced five-wide though the third turn and finished with a belated bid. POND HOCKEY broke sharply to dispute the early fractions with the winner while racing two-wide and gave way after going seven furlongs. BRILLIANT PATINA settled off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the first turn and did not threaten. NOR PER OURS raced off the pacesetters early, moved four-wide through the third turn and was not a factor. MISS CHEENY showed no early speed, raced off the rail throughout and did not offer a bid.
