Chart notes
HERO'S MAN was away in good order to set a pressured pace from the inside, was headed by FANCY CONCHO nearing the three-sixteenths marker, came back gamely and edged away from that rival late. FANCY CONCHO broke sharply to press the pace of the winner while racing three-wide, moved up to engage that foe nearing the three-sixteenths pole, gained a slight edge but could not hold that resurging rival safe in the drive. ANNAMATED MOON was reserved just off the leaders early, angled out nearing the eighth pole and finished evenly late. BOASTER bobbled at the start, lagged early, saved ground through the second turn and finished with a belated bid. HYPOTHESIS raced off the pacesetters early, moved four-wide through the second turn and failed to rally. LOXODROME lacked early foot, raced three-wide through the second turn and was not a factor.
