Chart notes
BI BI CARPE sprinted clear soon after the start, saved ground while setting the pace and drew off with little need of urging. ENGLISH HONOR broke sharply to race closest to the winner throughout, could not gain on that rival in the drive but finished well to hold the place. U S S COSTLY chased the leaders while racing three-wide throughout and failed to gain in the drive. FRANK THE TANK settled off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the turn and finished with some late run. MISTER CARSON raced off the pacesetters early, moved four-wide through the turn and finished evenly. HOLY BOLY was off slow, rushed up, saved ground and lacked the needed closing response. ORIENTATED showed no early speed, raced four-wide through the turn and was not a factor. RICHIE'S B L lacked early foot, raced off the rail through the turn and did not menace. WHAT ABOUT SHORTY was void of early speed, raced three-wide through the turn and did not reach contention.
