Chart notes
FORT YORK was hustled early to set fractions, settled through the backstretch run, saved ground coming into the drive and finished willingly to earn the win. HOLD ME CLOSE settled off pace while racing in the two path through the backstretch run, was asked for run in the drive and finished evenly. HULA KING was unhurried in the early stages, assumed a three wide trip around the first turn, slipped over to the two path on the far turn, swung five wide for the drive and made a mild late rally for third. NORTHERN QUEST sat off pace early while in the two path down the backstretch, advanced position in the middle stages, maintained a two wide trip through the far turn and could not hold off HULA KING for third. GEM STATE sat off early pace while maintaining a ground saving trip, lost position along the far turn, angled out three wide for the drive and had no late rally. BLUES RAPPER had no early speed, was outrun into the turn while saving ground and faded.
