Chart notes
UNCAPPED bumped hard with a rival at the start, went three wide on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside under a snug hold, moved closer midway down the backstretch, vied in the three path on the far turn, took the lead at the five-sixteenths, shook clear when set down in upper stretch, extended the advantage into the final furlong and proved best while kept to the task. DAY TRIP went two to three wide on the first turn, settled off the pace, was asked while three then four wide on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, drifted in near the furlong marker and finished willingly for the place. JUNIOR BUG saved ground on the first turn, was rated off the pace, went around the far turn in the two path, waited in a pocket late on that bend, was roused at the quarter-pole then moved out while put to a drive, bumped with a foe while between horses into the final furlong and also finished willingly earn the show. EAST LEX bumped hard with a rival at the start, went three then two wide on the first turn, was well placed just off the pace, passed the seven-sixteenths under urging, went three wide on the far turn, was driven five wide into the stretch and narrowly missed the show. JACK THE RIPPER (FR) went clear early, set the pace on the inside, was headed at the five-sixteenths, dropped back in upper stretch, bumped with a foe into the final furlong and tired. TALKIN MALICE was hard held while keen early then taken up nearing the first turn, went two then three wide on that bend, settled towards the rear, went around the far turn in the two path, came four wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. BAD BOY jostled with a rival early, went four wide on the first turn, was rated on the outside, made a strong middle move into contention midway down the backstretch, came under urging while three wide on the far turn and had nothing left. BRONX RUMBLE broke out at the start, rounded the first turn in the two path, was well placed just off the pace, saved ground while asked on the far turn and capitulated. VALIANT DEFENDER broke out and hit the gate, jostled with a foe early then dropped back, saved ground on the turns, came three wide into the stretch and was no factor.
