ONLY THE FACTS broke alertly to set the early fractions, saved ground through the backstretch and into the second turn, was confronted by LEMON DROP TINI in the final sixteenth, dug in and gamely held on. LEMON DROP TINI stalked the early pace, traveling in the two path through the backstretch and second turn, ranged up on the outside of ONLY THE FACTS in the stretch but could not get past. SUMMER APPARITION was pinched back slightly at the start, unhurried early while saving ground along the backstretch, advanced position along the second turn but could not sustain that bid in the stretch. OH LADY OH was up close early, maintained a three wide position through the backstretch and second turn, lost position coming into the stretch and tired in the drive. THAT'S MY STORY sat just off of the early pace while traveling four wide, lost position into the second turn, and had no late bid in the stretch. ANGELS RULE settled toward the rear of the field early, was outrun into the backstretch and second turn while three wide and gave way in the stretch.
