Chart notes
URSULINA chased the pace down the backstretch, went three wide on the turn, rallied four wide into the stretch, took the lead at the three-sixteenths, shook clear into the final furlong and prevailed under steady urging. LET'S SKEDADDLE was reserved off the pace, moved closer while inside on the turn, shifted three wide into the stretch then steadied behind horses, dropped in while put to a drive outside the eighth-pole, chased the winner in the final furlong and finished willingly for the place. MEGAN'S CLARA settled off the pace, went two to three wide on the turn, came five wide into the stretch, pursued the winner while outside in the stretch and also finished willingly but missed the place while clear for the show. CRUZ BAY raced well back in the field, went four wide early on the turn then moved to six wide, swung eight wide into upper stretch and improved position without threatening. PROMINENTLY was away awkwardly, settled towards the rear, went three wide on the turn, came five wide into the stretch, moved out around the three-sixteenths and failed to threaten. SNEAKY settled on the outside, dropped back leaving the backstretch, went five wide on the turn, moved out in upper stretch and failed to respond. PLANTS AND BIRDS was reluctant to load then broke a step slow, settled on the outside, went four to five wide on the turn and also failed to respond. PEARL GIRL broke a step slow, raced well back in the field, went around the turn in the two path, spun three wide into the stretch, raced extremely high-headed into the final furlong and was no factor. QUALITY OF MERCY moved out towards the front late on the backstretch, went four then five wide on the turn, floated eight wide into the stretch and had nothing left. NATALIE WOULD settled off the pace, saved ground on the turn, moved out in upper stretch and showed little. FORTHELOVEOFLYDIA angled in while showing speed, disputed the pace on the outside, brushed with a foe late on the backstretch, vied in the two to three path on the turn and stopped. ARBITRARY moved up to dispute the pace on the inside of a rival, brushed with that foe late on the backstretch, vied inside to the two path on the turn and also stopped.
