Chart notes
DIAMOND BLITZ was hustled early, set uncontested fractions while saving ground through the backstretch and second turn, was kept to task in the stretch, and though tiring late, prevailed. POUR ON THE COLE sat off of the early fractions, was three wide along the second turn, and made a late rally in the stretch to get second. SHOT OF A LIFETIME saved ground along the backstretch and second turn run while chasing the pace, was asked for run in the stretch and could not hold off POUR ON THE COLE for second. NOWHERE MAN settled at the rear of the field early, was outrun into the second turn, and had no late rally in the stretch.
