CANCELLARA broke in at the start, chased the pace early on, made a bid three wide along the far turn, took over command and cleared the field, remained clear down the lane and held safely in the final stages while ridden out. ONENIGHTSTANDARDS trailed the field early on, was in the four path into the lane, rallied down the lane and was gaining in the winner in the final stages. HARD STING tracked the pace early along the three path, took over and led briefly near the three eighths pole, was in the three path into the lane and faltered in the stretch run. EASTERN SYMPHONY dueled early from the inside, was in the four path into the lane and faded in the stretch drive. CROWN THE PRINCE was bumped at the start, raced close to the rail throughout while no factor. CLEVELAND SIMPSON dueled early on two wide, was off the rail into the lane and gave way down the lane.
