Chart notes
A THING OF BEAUTY set a clear pace from the outset, was off the rail into the lane, opened up a wider advantage near the eighth pole and held off late charging rival in the final stages. ELLE EST FORTE chased the pace early, was on the inside into the lane, altered off the rail down the lane with a late charge but did not have enough. MULSANNE (IRE) was steadied along through the first turn, checked a bit into the backstretch from the inside, was off the rail into the lane, rallied in the stretch and was gaining in the late stages. LAYNLOMAKNDOUGH chased the pace early, was in the four path into the lane with a belated gain in the stretch run. BIG BEE tracked the leader down the backstretch, was off the rail into the lane and flattened out late in the stretch drive. THE FLYING PHAROAH bobbled at the start, was in the three path into the lane with some gain in the stretch. TURNING POINT chased the pace early, was in the three path into the lane and faded late.
