BOYSON chased the early pace, was two wide along the second turn while close up, found another gear nearing the sixteenth pole, battled COMBAT ZONE to the finish and won the head bob, while running on his left lead through the stretch. COMBAT ZONE stalked the early pace,was two wide while close up on the second turn, took the lead entering the stretch, battled BOYSON to the finish and could not get past that rival, while still an easy second. MOSQUITO FLEET set early fractions while saving ground, was asked for run into the stretch, was tiring late but held for third. BIG CITY BANE chased the early pace, saved ground through the backstretch and run on the second turn, and tired in the stretch run. FINAL FINAL had no speed early, saved ground through the second turn, and did not make a late rally.
