Chart notes
TOWERING CHANCE gave chase toward the inside, angled three wide into the stretch and dug in under steady handling to get up the final strides. CHARITABLY GIFTED pressured the pace and contested the turn at a close disadvantage while two deep, dueled to the lead mid-stretch, ran briefly clear but was caught in the final strides. STRONG SAFETY was bumped inward and into Boss E Boogs at the break then took over at the half mile pole and set a pressured pace, contested the advantage nearest the rail on the turn, gave up the lead mid-stretch and flattened stride. BIGAIRTOTHETHROWN chased, rounded the turn about the five path and finished well. BLUE COLLAR BOY chased inside, raced near the rail on the turn then flattened stride later yards. BOSS E BOOGS came away a step slow and was bumped soundly at the break, came through the turn about the four path, angled to the six path into the lane and passed rivals. CHAMPSTER gave chase outside and rounded the turn about the seven path. SPINISH broke in to make contact with Strong Safety then gave chase through the backstretch, raced off the rail on the turn and weakened into the stretch. GENESIS G G was not a factor.
