Chart notes
CHARGING HOME stalked the early pace, was three wide between horses on the turn, made a bid inside the furlong marker to take the lead and though tiring late, held on to get the head nod to prevail. CLOCHARD STREET settled toward the rear of the field, was two wide behind foes on the turn, rallied in the stretch and pressured the winner late but just missed for the win. WAHASHA broke sharply and set the pace through the turn, was two wide on the turn, was clear into the stretch but tired in the last sixteenth, though was a clear third. GEE STREET had no speed early, was two wide on the turn while at the rear, came on late in the drive but was not challenging the leaders. MARK WHATS MINE chased the early pace, lost position on the turn while saving ground, was outrun off of the turn, showed late interest in the stretch but was not challenging the leaders. MERGIE TROID chased the pace from the middle of the field, gained ground on the turn while going four wide but could not continue that bid and was outfinished in the stretch.
