Chart notes
QUICK AND SILVER was sent to set the early fractions, maintained the lead through the turn while two wide, was roused into the drive, dug in late and held on for the win. ARNO'S MANE MAN settled at the rear of the field, was three wide behind horses on the turn, gained ground into the stretch, made a late rally and just missed for the win, while besting the rest of the field. TRISTRAM SPEAKER stalked the pace through the turn, was three wide outside of horses on the turn, lost position nearing the eighth pole and was outfinished by the top two, though held for third. UNBRIDLED'S SKYE chased the early pace, was two wide between rivals on the turn, lost ground off of the turn and finished evenly in the stretch. HOT ENCOUNTER chased the early leaders, gained ground on the turn while saving ground, was outrun off of the turn and had no rally in the stretch.
