Chart notes
DUB TOWN sat just off of the pace, was three wide on the second turn while gaining ground, swung out for the drive and made a late bid in the stretch to prevail. K P D DAY settled toward the rear of the field, gained position on the second turn while four wide, chased COUNTING CARDS into the stretch and finished evenly late while running on the left lead, though bested the rest. EXHORTATION was rank on the first turn, settled toward the rear of the field, saved ground on the second turn, angled off the rail for the stretch drive, waited for racing room and made a late bid to get third. COUNTING CARDS contested the pace, was three wide between foes on the second turn, took the lead entering the stretch but gave way in the drive. IMPERATOR set contested fractions through the second turn, saved ground on the second turn, lost position off of the turn and tired in the stretch run.
