Chart notes
MILLWOOD raced two wide in a forward position around the first turn then settled while rated in range, swung five wide and given cue turning for home, gathered momentum under steady pressure and drove clear. JURISDICTION vied outside of HALEYS SAILOR down the backstretch, began to edge away on top then quickly came under attack from outside duo entering the far turn, battled back with a slim lead into the lane, kept on gamely but had no closing kick left in reserve. TAPSOLUTION was allowed to settle through early stages, circled up four wide to loom a danger late on the far turn, remained up close to the furlong marker then flattened out. HALEYS SAILOR vied inside of JURISDICTION down the backstretch, weakened briefly then cut the corner and re-broke to apply pressure to leader in upper stretch then failed to keep pace past the furlong marker. HEAVY DUTY was unhurried through early stages, vied three deep on the far turn, could not move on for the lead then steadied in upper stretch and faded. CLEVER LAD was forwardly placed down the backstretch, vied for the lead around the far turn then came up empty turning for home. Race was hand timed. THE RIDER OF #2 HEAVY DUTY LODGED CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST #3 JURISDICATION FOR INTERFERENCE IN UPPER STRETCH, AFTER REVIEW STEWARDS TOOK NO ACTION
