Chart notes
NOW TIZ TIME chased inside, moved up on the turn, made a rail bid at the quarter pole, rallied to take charge, drew clear and was in hand for the final yards. STRETCH THE TRUTH set the pace racing off the inside, dueled with the winner turning for home, was no match for that rival and clear for place honors. DENY chased close up between rivals, chased on the turn, came four wide into the lane and weakened. V. I. P. WHO was outrun early and did not factor. PIRATE PARADE stalked close up early, chased outside, raced three wide on the turn and faded. MACHO BOY stumbled badly at the start and lost the rider, walked off. After a Stewards' Inquiry into the start, the race was declared official.
